You should also budget for meals, optional activities such as a Loch Ness cruise, and entrance fees to attractions such as castles or museums if you wish to visit them.

You should bring comfortable clothing suitable for changing weather, a waterproof jacket, sturdy walking shoes, warm layers, personal toiletries and a reusable water bottle. Scotland’s weather can change quickly, so packing warm clothing and rain protection is recommended. A small daypack for daily excursions is also useful.

Each traveller may bring one suitcase or backpack (maximum 15kg) and one small carry-on bag. Suitcases should generally not exceed 67cm x 45cm in size. Excess or oversized luggage may not be accepted on the coach.
