No. Snow clothing and toboggan hire are available at Lake Mountain for an additional cost. Photo ID and a credit card are required for rental.

Kick off your day with a scenic drive from Melbourne, heading towards Victoria&rsquo;s alpine region. The journey takes you through the lush Black Spur, a winding forest road lined with eucalyptus and giant tree ferns &mdash; a highlight in itself.

Your main stop is Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, where you&rsquo;ll enjoy more than three hours of snow play. Try tobogganing (own expense), build snowmen, wander through the alpine landscape, or simply enjoy the crisp mountain air. If you need snow gear, you can hire clothing and equipment on-site.

After your snow session, continue to Steavenson Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the state. Follow the short walking track to the viewing platform and take in the sight of water cascading down the rocky cliff face, surrounded by native bushland.
