Get ready for an unforgettable aerial adventure! Your experience begins with a 36-minute scenic helicopter flight showcasing the best of Auckland’s wild coastline and vibrant cityscape

First, soar along Auckland’s dramatic West Coast, taking in rugged black-sand beaches, volcanic cliffs, caves and the bush-clad Waitakere Ranges. You’ll also spot hidden water reservoirs tucked into the surrounding landscape, offering a fresh perspective on this spectacular natural environment

As your flight continues, the scenery shifts from untamed coastline to urban energy. Fly over Auckland’s suburbs towards the city centre for aerial views of Downtown Auckland, Viaduct Harbour and the iconic Sky Tower. You’ll get to appreciate the contrast between the city’s skyline and the rugged landscapes you’ve just explored

Next, cross the Waitematā Harbour towards Devonport Naval Base and North Head before taking in the volcanic crater of Rangitoto Island from above. This coast-to-coast journey brings together Auckland’s beaches, natural landscapes and city landmarks in one scenic circuit before returning to the heliport

Scenic Flights are coordinated flights so smaller bookings may be grouped with other passengers. If only two passengers are booked on the flight this will take place in our Robinson R44 Helicopter.

A few important things to know before booking: Flights are weather-dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if conditions are unsuitable. You must provide accurate passenger weights when booking, and the average passenger weight must be 90 kg or less. Passengers weighing over 100 kg may need to pay for an additional comfort seat. For Eurocopter Squirrel flights using the two front seats, the combined weight of both passengers must not exceed 140 kg
