Yes. A nature guide accompanies the small walking group throughout the 3.5-hour Milford Track walk, sharing information about the native flora, fauna and human heritage of the area.

The guided Milford Track walk has a maximum of 12 people, giving you a more intimate experience on the track.

Wildlife sightings are possible, including seals, pods of dolphins and seasonal Fiordland crested penguins. Sightings are not guaranteed.

The walk involves natural, unmodified terrain and can have natural hazards. You will receive safety information and instructions and should follow the guidance provided during the experience.

Start your day at the Milford Sound terminal at 8:30 am, where you&rsquo;ll meet your guide before a short boat ride across Milford Sound&rsquo;s Deep Water Basin to Sandfly Point, the starting point of your guided Milford Track walk.

Spend around 3.5 hours exploring the Milford Track in a small group of up to 12 people. Follow the well-formed track alongside the Arthur River and Lake Ada, surrounded by ancient trees, vibrant ferns and mosses. Your nature guide will share insights into the native flora and fauna, as well as the fascinating human heritage of the track.

Reach Giant&rsquo;s Gate waterfall, the halfway point of the walk, where you can admire the falls from the large swing bridge and capture some great photos. After the walk, return to the main wharf complex for your 2-hour Milford Sound cruise.

Cruise the length of the 16km fiord past Mitre Peak, Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls, with informative commentary from your skipper.
