If you&rsquo;re not up to date on the Outlander TV series, then yes &mdash; you might catch a few spoilers as you explore filming locations from the earlier and later seasons. Your HAGGiS Guide will give some context on the scenes that unfolded there, so consider this your friendly spoiler alert!

If you&rsquo;re an Outlander fan, this tour might just be your dream day out! Travel to charming villages, explore iconic attractions, and immerse yourself in the true tales that inspired Diana Gabaldon&rsquo;s world-famous Outlander series as you explore the film locations that brought her books to life!&nbsp;

You&rsquo;ll start the day in Edinburgh and head to Midhope Castle*, a 15th-century tower house that you&rsquo;ll no doubt recognise as the Outlander filming location for Lallybroch. After spending time at Midhope Castle, you&rsquo;ll visit Doune Castle*, better known as Castle Leoch to Outlander fans. As one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Scotland, this medieval stronghold has had more than its fair share of TV time! As well as Outlander, Doune Castle has also featured in Game of Thrones, Outlaw King, and Monty Python &amp; the Holy Grail.

Next, in the ancient Kingdom of Fife, you&rsquo;ll visit Falkland, the Outlander setting for 1940&#39;s Inverness. Spend time exploring Falkland&rsquo;s quaint streets or chase Jamie&#39;s ghostly figure around the village square. Afterwards, we travel to colourful Culross, which was used as the filming location for Cranesmuir, where Claire and Geillis Duncan were accused of witchcraft. That was a close call!

&nbsp;

Saving the best &#39;til last, the final stop on this tour is Blackness Castle, the fictional setting for Outlander&rsquo;s Fort William, which was home to Captain Jack Randall&#39;s worst acts of violence. From here, you&rsquo;ll get the chance to view the jaw-dropping Forth Bridges before returning to Edinburgh in the early evening &mdash; the perfect end to an awesome day!
